Sheridan Pauker
Corporate Accountability Program
I worked at As You Sow from 1998-2001 as an Associate Director of the Corporate Accountability Program. I worked closely with Conrad on numerous shareholder campaigns. One of the actions of which I'm most proud in my career so far was through As You Sow, encouraging Home Depot to agree to stop selling old growth wood. I also did a lot of work around Burma, putting pressure on companies like Unocal and others that were doing business with the military junta regime and committing human rights atrocities.
In 2001 I went to law school, and I then joined the Board of As You Sow. I was on the Board until 2011 and was the President for the last year or two of that time.
I'm now a Partner at the law firm Keyes & Fox. My work focuses on promoting solar energy, energy efficiency and energy storage through the public utilities regulatory process. I also advise energy efficiency and solar companies on regulatory compliance and transactional matters. I am the Chair of the Board of Vote Solar and also very happy to be a mom! I'm extremely grateful that I launched my career at As You Sow and had the privilege of working with Conrad, Tom Van Dyck and so many other passionate agents of social and environmental change.
