Toxic Enforcement Staff Attorney

Jonathan Kirkland was a Staff Attorney in As You Sow’s Toxic Enforcement Program where he worked to protect the public and the environment through litigation under California’s Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act (Prop. 65). Before joining As You Sow, Jonathan fought and won against corporations in private practice on behalf of Louisiana workers and consumers nationwide under state and federal statutes, including the Fair Labor Standards Act and the Telephone Consumer Protection Act. Jonathan has tried and argued cases in administrative, state, and federal appellate courts. He holds a J.D. from Tulane University Law School where he received a Certificate in Environmental Law.
