Isaac J. Montes is Senior Director of Communications and one of the newest members of the As You Sow team. Purpose-driven. Innately curious. He is a communications and marketing leader with a 25-year track record delivering business innovation and social impact within Fortune 100 companies, including Nike and Warner Music Group, NGOs, and the UN.

Over the course of his career, Isaac has advanced cross-sector ESG initiatives exceeding $250M spanning 15+ industries in 30 countries. He is a frequent speaker and published author, including on his take on growing shared value through cross-sector collaborations in “Sustainability: A New Path to Corporate and NGO Collaborations” in the Stanford Social Innovation Review.

Isaac earned his MBA (Marketing) and MA in Sustainable International Development from The Heller School for Social Policy & Management at Brandeis University, and a BA in International Relations from the University of Miami. He also holds professional certificates in Project Management from the Project Management Institute and Digital Marketing from New York University.

Isaac is a proud first generation Cuban American and high-school graduate, and a member of the LGBTQ+ community. He lives in Portland, OR with his 5-year-old twins who always keep him on his toes.
