Michael Darnaud Joins As You Sow Board of Directors

EL CERRITO, CA—March 12, 2025—Today, the As You Sow Board of Directors and staff welcome Michael Darnaud to our board of Directors. Michael Darnaud is a Business Development professional, with a specialty in sustainability, helping non-profit and for-profit companies with strategic relationships and revenue growth. He also mentors young ESG entrepreneurs at PlugAndPlay and Gener8tor, two technology incubators. 

Most recently, Michael led Business Development at a Canadian company selling carbon credits and a sustainability employment engagement app. He was previously Head of North America at a European ESG reporting company. For over 15 years, Michael ran his own consulting practice, which focused on international sales and strategy in fintech and cybersecurity, delivering millions in profitable revenue.  Earlier on, he was as a Senior Consultant at PwC, where he managed Strategic Alliances and advised Fortune 1000 companies on Social Collaboration.

Michael has spent over a decade serving on the board of directors of non-profits. At present, he is on the Boards of the Northern California Land Trust and As You Sow. He earned an Engineering Degree in Telecommunications, a BA in Economics from the Sorbonne and an MBA in Finance from INSEAD. He resides in San Francisco with his wife.
