  • QUALIFIED CHARITABLE DISTRIBUTION

    If you are 70.5 or older, you can make a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) directly to As You Sow. QCDs are excluded from your taxable income, likely reducing the taxes you owe. QCDs count toward your required minimum distribution, and you can give up to $ 100,000 each year. Contact your IRA administrator for specific instructions for your account.

  • DONOR ADVISED FUND

    To make a gift from your Donor Advised Fund, request a grant distribution through your DAF sponsor. Use As You Sow’s EIN #94-3169008 and this address:

    Giving stock or mutual fund shares may allow you to make a larger gift than you thought possible. When you give appreciated shares, you’ll pay no capital gains taxes and receive a charitable deduction for your gift’s full value.
