As You Sow Designated as an Ocean Hero

The International Ocean Film Festival has designated As You Sow as one of its Ocean Heroes. These are groups with missions that helps protect oceans and marine life, and As You Sow is recognized on their Ocean Heroes page.

The International Ocean Film Festival is celebrating its 18th year and is being hosted virtually through May 2. It features 80 independent films from 17 countries. At least five films deal to some extent with plastic pollution: Nunuq, Guardians of the Turtles, Our Sea of Waste, Reforme Plastics, and Voice Above Water. Fees apply to most . . . and some screenings are free, such as “360° Sea Plastic.”
